Nothing about the service. Same owners, same trailers, same yard at Slacks Creek, same 24/7 self-serve booking and the same phone number. Any booking you have already made is unaffected. Only the name is changing, because we're adding more locations across South East Queensland and the old one only spoke for one suburb. You'll still see Slacks Creek Trailer Hire on some signage and receipts while we work through the changeover.

Quick answers to help you book with confidence. Can't find yours? Ask us in the chat.
Do I need to pay a bond or deposit?
No bond and no deposit. You pay for the hire only, by card, when you book. Nothing's held and there's nothing to claim back afterwards.
What do I need to hire a trailer?
A valid driver's licence (the physical card), a vehicle with a legal tow rating for your load, and a card to pay. Bring your own tie-down straps if you'll need them.
Do I need to verify my ID?
Yes, on your first booking you'll do a quick licence check, about 60 seconds, with your physical driver's licence handy. It's a one-off that protects everyone from fraud, and every booking after that is instant.
How does the 24/7 contactless pickup work?
Book online, then at the trailer you do a quick photo check-in in the app, get your access code, open the keybox, take the keys and go. No counter, no staff, any hour of the day or night. See the full pickup guide →
I can't find my booking confirmation, what do I do?
Check your junk or spam folder first, and search your inbox for "TrailerMates". Your confirmation has your booking details and the link to start your pickup. One thing to know: your access code isn't in the email, it appears at the trailer once you've done your quick photo check-in.
Can I hire for just a few hours?
Yes. Hire is by the hour, from $5 an hour, so a quick dump run or a couple of hours shifting gear won't cost you a full day.
Can I change or extend my hire?
Yes. Extend your hire in the app before your booked end time to avoid late charges, and you can request other changes there too. Just sort it before you run over, not after. Manage your booking →
Do you offer one-way hires?
No, trailers come back to the same spot you collected them from. Keeping it to one location is what lets us run fully self-service and keep the rates low.
Will my car tow it, and do I need a brake controller?
Check your vehicle's tow rating against the trailer, it's listed on each one. The braked trailers run the Elecbrakes system, controlled through the trailer itself, so your car's built-in brake controller won't operate them and you don't need one fitted. Just download the free Elecbrakes app before pickup and follow the pairing steps. How the electric brakes work →
What type of trailer plug do you use?
Our trailers run a 7-pin flat connector for the lights. If your vehicle has a different plug, a cheap adapter from any auto shop sorts it in seconds.
Do you supply straps or a winch?
Straps aren't included, so bring your own, Bunnings or Supercheap have what you need. The car trailer has an electric winch built in, and each trailer's page lists exactly what it comes with.
What if the trailer gets damaged?
You photograph the trailer at pickup and again at return, so there's never a dispute over marks that were already there. You're only ever accountable for damage during your own hire. If something goes wrong, call us and we'll work it out fairly.
Is roadside assistance included?
Yes, your hire comes with NRMA roadside assistance, so if there's trouble on the road you're not left stranded.
Where are you based?
Our trailers are in Slacks Creek, right in the heart of Logan, and easy to reach from across Logan and Brisbane's south side. You'll see the exact location when you book.
